Donations are utilized in several different ways. They are used primarily to cover the costs of hosting firthness and its forums, as well as renewing firthness's domain name every spring. These two items amount to nearly $130 a year. Any funds received in excess of that amount will be used to supply contest prizes. (As are the amounts we receive via our affiliation with Amazon.com.) As for the pond boys' Speedos and a certain duckie's martinis - we ask them to supply their own to keep costs down.

We have set up a PayPal account that is capable of taking donations via credits cards within the States and internationally. No fees are charged to the firthling making the donation and only a very nominal fee is charged to firthness. There's no need to have a PayPal account to make a donation using this method. A button for this option is located at the bottom of all of this quacking.

Alternatively, if you feel uncomfortable sending funds over the internet or with PayPal in general, we do offer the option of sending checks or money orders straight to the pond via snail mail. If this method interests you, just contact the administrators through the contact form on the website and we'll send you the pond's top secret mailing address.
