Their celebrated courtship began in the summer of 1999, after Mr. Bigglesworth was named as Cats' "Feline of the Year."  During his promotional tour for the magazine, the couple met in the hallway during the taping of Oprah.  Mrs. Bigglesworth, then known, less formally, as Miss De Bourgh, was reported to have been besotted with his presence.

Frequently seen together at post pet shops and fancy groomers, and reported to have been frequently secluded in Rosings, Kent, the couple was subject to much speculation.  They committed to each other, in a private ceremony, less than two months later.  A fair litter of Bigglesworths soon followed...

Mrs. Bigglesworth, however, is well-known in her own rights.  A member of the exalted family at Rosings, Mrs. Bigglesworth, is the current and presiding Catness of Kent.  Known to her friends as Muffy, and to her caretakers, more formally, as Muffy-cutie-kins - Her Catness, is a proponent of Persian rights and often used as a model of superior breeding.  Though reclusive, her connection with Mr. Bigglesworth as brought her more into the public eye...
