Well, Webster's says, "a flat-billed swimming bird with short legs and neck." We would have to object (vehemently) to such a simplistic definition. While we do like to swim and often waddle to and fro, duckies are so much more. How many waterfowl do you know that have a weakness for the martini, or an innocent obsession with a certain sexy pond boy and a studly special agent, or even who can type?? Were we pressed for an explanation, we would say that we are cute, feathered, innocent little souls, who delight in quacking, reading, writing, and making mayhem.
