Hey, that's me! (Yes, an image of the illusive tiger duckie in action...) Merriam Webster says that a stalker pursues quarry or prey stealthily. Hm. Stealthily? Perhaps, but certainly not subtlety! I would say that a stalker is a duckie who is very tenacious in regards to hounding authors for new installments of their stories.
